La filosofia

Aunque se ofrecen retreats de patchwork de varios días o de fines de semana, normalmente estos están enfocados básicamente a las clases y no tanto a la experiencia en general! Nosotros queremos que las que deseen hacer nuestros cursos vuelvan a casa con la satisfacción no solo de haber aprendido a hacer un proyecto, también de aprender nuevas técnicas. Todo eso con la alegría de haber pasado unos días memorables pasándolo bien y relajándose con gente que comparte sus mismas aficiones en un sitio cómodo y con vistas increíbles. Los cursos son restringidos entre 6-8 quilters para una mejor atención personal.

De todas maneras estamos dispuestos a adaptarnos a cualquier interes que tengáis, así que no dudéis en contactarnos ante cualquier pregunta o deseo que tengáis!!

The philosophy

Whilst there are many patchwork and  quilting retreats offered for a few days or even an entire week, we feel that there is often too much emphasis placed on the classes themselves, which is not to say that they are not of course extremely important, and too little on the overall experience.

We want our students to return home feeling that they have not only learnt a few new tricks but also that they have had a memorable holiday in beautiful and relaxed surroundings, perhaps more on a par with a husband's golfing holiday than with the sometimes rushed lessons and Spartan accommodation that are often associated with patchwork and quilting courses.

The fact that class sizes are restricted to between 6-8 students is a further reflection of the personal attention we wish to dedicate to each attendee.
